History by DocMooBios
Back Story:
– Varies in incarnation to incarnations with each member having a different back story
– In general; Donald was raised in Duckburg USA, Panchito was grew up in Chihuahua Mexico, and Jose grew up in Rio De Janeiro
— See their individual bios for more information
– Donald and Jose met first when Donald visited Brazil and became friends, and later on the two met Panchito who gave them a tour of Mexico
— How they all met varies in different media/incarnations

Legend of the three Caballeros:
– Before the events of the show, Donald was just a neighborhood barber, Panchito was a world famous Luchador wrestler named “El Gallo Loco”, and Jose was a poor and had to use his charisma and charm to get by.
– After having a terrible birthday, Donald got a note in the mail that his great grand-father “Clinton Coot” had passed away, and that he inherited his small dinky cabana
– Turns out said cabana was also inherited by Panchito Pistoles and
José Carioca, so he had to share the place with them
– Later they found out the house was filled with magical artifacts, including a magical book that contained Xandra (The goddess of adventure) who revealed to them the truth of their ancestry
– They learned they were the descendants of the original legendary “Three Caballeros” who were adventurous knights that fought and sealed away the evil lord Felldrake in a magical staff
– As a result, they became the new “Three Caballeros” with all of them now going on adventures with Xandra and thwarting Baron Von Shellgoose and Lord Felldrake on the sides.
– During the course of their adventures they receives training from King Arthur himself and unlocked the power of their ancestor’s amulets to better fight evil

General Physicality:

(See individual bios for more information)

ThreeStrength by DocMooBios
Strength:
– Due to being cartoon animals, they are stronger than regular people
– Likely they all scale to each other
– Were able to knock away and sent car-sized monster termites flying with their strikes
– Panchito and Donald more often use their strength while fighting due to Donald’s temper and due to Panchito being a wrestler
— Jose prefers to just use his wits
– Are likely all small building level in terms of attack power in their base forms due to being able to hurt Baron Von Shellgoose
– Can further increase their strength with Amulet power (See “Amulet Power” below) to fight cosmic evils like re-awaken Lord Felldrake
— At full power, The Caballeros can be anywhere from planet to star level (Up for debate)

PanchitoDurability by DocMooBios JoseDuraBlownUp by DocMooBios
Durability:
– Due to their toon force, they are able to survive things that regular people cannot and bounce back with no injury what so ever
– Have often tanked cartoon explosions from bombs, dynamite, and fire works
– All likely scale to each other
– Have taken beatings from people are bigger than themselves
– Are likely all in the very least wall level since people surviving long falls unharmed seems common in various continuities
– Are likely all small building level in terms of durability when scaled to their attack power (See above)
— Possibly building level when scaled to Jose Carioca in the the Ze Carioca comics (Where Donald and Panchito have occasionally appeared)
– Tanked a “Warning shot” from Xandra’s arrows (Xandra is the goddess of adventure)
– Can further increase their strength with Amulet power (See “Amulet Power” below) to fight cosmic evils like re-awaken Lord Felldrake

— At full power, The Caballeros can be anywhere from planet to star level (Up for debate)

SpeedPanchitoJoseDonald by DocMooBios
Speed:
– All three of them can keep up with Donald, who tends to out run while animals and can move fast enough to appear like a blur
— Donald can run fast enough to become a living bolt of lightning when he’s angry
– All three are very agile in general and tend to use it to their advantage in a fight

– All likely scale to each other
– Have dodged bullets during some of their comic adventures (Donald and Jose deal with robbers/thugs armed with guns while Panchito has dealt with bandits and outlaws armed with revolvers)
– Have also dodged magic attacks be it from Magica De Spell or Baron Von Shellgoose
– Donald and Jose have electricity dodging feats, putting their speed anywhere from hypersonic to massively hypersonic
– Panchito has meteor/comet reacting feats, putting his speed anywhere from hypersonic to massively hypersonic
— Have also fought Shellgoose, who has reaction speeds that scale him to Xandra (Who can intercept/deflect incoming meteors/comets)
– Can further increase their speed with Amulet power (See “Amulet Power” below) to fight cosmic evils like re-awaken Lord Felldrake
— Though how fast they can become isn’t clear

Special Abilities:

(See their individual bios for their more information)

PanchitoToonForce by DocMooBios
Toon Force (Various):

– Can constantly break the laws of physics with some light reality warping
– Any injuries or damage suffered to their bodies quickly heal off screen (for the most part; some times their injuries will remain)

– Have Hammer Space: Can pull objects out of seemingly nowhere be them weapons, musical instruments, or other items (Various incarnations)
– The world around them seems to change when ever they burst into song
— Often materialize musical instruments out of nothing, the background changes to strange elaborate shapes/colors, the setting is changed in general, large trees will instantly grow from the ground, and they can make a thunder storm (complete with strikes of lightning) before making most if not all these things abruptly disappear
– Can pop out of seemingly anywhere after disappearing beneath their Sombreros
— Panchito always has spare Sombrero’s to spare for his friends
– Can temporarily turn anything into a musical instrument (Some how Panchito turned Donald’s hat into an accordion while Donald turned his own bill into a flute)
– Have flown by flapping their arms (Albeit briefly)
– Jose has displayed the ability to shrink himself, other people, and create clones of himself
– Donald has shown the ability to use his tail feathers as either a propeller to slow down his fall or an extra hand to grab things
– Panchito has shown he can increase his own size while singing
– Have traveled to the real world (or at least a live action world) to interact with real life people via traveling through pictures
— It should be noted that they have more limited toon force in the comics or “Legend of the Three Caballeros” and is much more susceptible to mortal injury
— That said, he can still survive and get back up from many things that would kill the average person

BlackMagicJose by DocMooBios BlackMagicDonald by DocMooBios  Panchitomagic by DocMooBios
Magic (The Three Caballeros):
– In the original films the trio displayed some use of magic
— In the comics Jose can also do magic, but they tend to be mere parlor tricks
– Jose and Donald can use a little “Black Magic” in which if they’re shrunken down, they can return to normal size by merely blowing into their index fingers
— They displayed similar abilities to this while in the underworld when they had been turned into ghosts (Including Panchito) and were able to inflate their limbs to hit harder or bounce away enemies
— Unknown if they can all use “Black Magic” like this outside the spirit world (Though it seems possible)
– Panchito can shoot magic from his hands at pictures/paintings, turning them into windows/portals so he and his fellow Caballeros may travel to them

JoseFire by DocMooBios DonaldThunder by DocMooBios
Elemental Abilities (Disney Sports series):
– Only used by Donald and Jose
— Unfortunately, Panchito was not present for these games, so he lacks these abilities

– Donald gains the ability to emit electricity
— Possibly a reference to the time he was bestowed Electricity by a pair of gods in the original shorts

– Donald can charge things with electricity by kicking them or throwing them, and even make them explode
– Enemies hit by what ever Donald has charged with electricity will get stunned/shocked or blown away
– Can surround himself in an electric force field that not only protect him and knocks away enemies, but he also calls down bolts of lightning from above to strike down his opponents if they’re too close to him
— Can use this to plow through an enemy team
– Jose has shown the ability to spontaneously erupt into flames in short bursts
— Also gains a short burst of speed in the process
– Can surround himself in a blazing fiery shield to plow through groups of foes
– Can ignite things by kicking them and send them flying into enemies
— Can send what ever he kicks/ignites rocketing up high into the air

AmuletPower03 by DocMooBios
Amulet Power (Legends of the Three Caballeros):
– By the end of the first season; the three Caballeros absorb the power of the three amulets into their bodies
— These amulets were originally used by their ancestors to not only protect them, but also give them the power to seal away great evils like Lord Felldrake
— It turns out they were made by the Wizard “Blazebeak” who bound his very life force to the amulets themselves
– The Three Caballeros can access the power of these amulets to boost the powers of themselves and their weapons
– The amulets not only boost their speed, but allow them to seemingly run through the air itself as if they were flying
– Seem to gain a light healing factor; Xandra was weakened and injured before she herself was imbued with Amulet power, which immediately healed her up before her power was enhanced.
– Make the Caballeros powerful enough to fight and hurt/damage a fully awakened Felldrake
– Felldrake’s very presence/awakening was enough to obstruct the balance of light and darkness, even while still an infant
– Felldrake at his most powerful destroyed the earth the moment he awoke, leaving it nothing more than fragments floating through space
— Though that said, it is also possible he merely teleported large chunks of the area when he teleported, as it seemed all the civilians survived the explosion
— Either way, everything was restored back to normal after his defeat
– Felldrake at his strongest was likely comparable to when he attained the power of a World Fruit which not only gave him planetary power, but made him stronger than the gods.
— Apollo was a god capable of moving the sun (and yes, the sun in their world is as big as the one in ours)
– According the Blazebeak, Felldrake was said to be a threat to the entire universe (Though this can likely be hyperbole)
– Amulet Power strengthens their weapons as well, allowing them to hurt the likes of Felldrake
– Also gains the ability to fire a beam of magic out of their weapons that can seal away foes
– The Caballeros can combine their powers to seal some one as powerful as Felldrake into an object
— Almost sealed Felldrake into a staff again (Before Shellgoose interfered)

Relationship/Team Work:

(See more about their personalities and intelligence/skills/experience in their individual bios)

Friendship01 by DocMooBios
Friendship (Various):
– Donald Duck is very good friends with both Jose and Panchito; the three of them are always happy to see each other and meet up again for anything whether it’s for a new adventure or for a concert.
— Because of this, the two of them have a very close bond and friendship despite not seeing each other very frequently.

– Both Panchito and Jose have great respect for Donald and even look up to him; they treat him better than Scrooge, Daisy, and even his own nephews (Comics)
– Jose actually admires Donald Duck and his past works; is actually a fan of Donald’s old cartoons .
— Can some times laugh hysterically at Donald’s tantrums/antics (Due to finding Donald and his cartoons hilarious) often lightly punching at his own skull while laughing and exclaiming “You kill my head!”

— Jose and Donald have known each other the longest of the three.
– Jose and Panchito are more energetic/excitable than Donald.
– Jose and Panchito also get along very well due to both of them being charismatic, sharing a love for the ladies, both loving to party, and both loving their respective countries of origin.
— The two of them are also more optimistic and less reluctant to do anything compared to Donald
– While the three of them used to chase girls together, Donald stopped doing so because he’s with Daisy now (But that doesn’t stop Panchito and Jose from trying to encourage him once in awhile, though Donald refuses)
– In “Legend of the Three Caballeros”, Donald was initially annoyed with both Jose and Panchito, but bonded with them during the course of the series as they went on more adventures together.
— While they still occasionally annoy Donald with how loud, eccentric, or optimistic they can be; Donald rarely loses his temper with either of them
– All three of them always have the same goal in mind and are often willing to split what ever rewards they get (and if they get nothing, they can in the very least appreciate the journey/adventure itself and laugh about it later)

TeamWork by DocMooBios
“Stop right there!”
“We do not know what evil you plan on reeking”
“Or why, or how, or when!”
“But knock it off, or face…”
“THE THREE CABALLEROS!”

Team Work (Various):
– Donald Duck often leads the team and comes up with the plans due to being the most experienced adventure of all of them.
— Panchito and Jose actually some times rely on Donald Duck to tell them what to do because of this, though they will contribute themselves in their own way if they can.
– Will often share knowledge with each other on what ever they know during their adventures if it’s something of use to their situation.
– Both Panchito and Jose seem unaware of Donald’s clumsiness and bad luck and only see the best in him, sometimes to ridiculous extents. (Comics)
— When ever Donald ends up doing something competent by pure luck/accident, the two often believe that Donald planned it all along and praise him for it (Comics)
– In “Legend of the Three Caballeros” despite not knowing either Jose or Panchito for very long, Donald was able to come up with a plan to defeat the Minotaur which made use of all their talents/skills.
– In “Legend of the Three Caballeros” all three of them were not only trained how to fight, but they were also trained to fight as a team.
– Like any good team, they have each other’s backs and will do all they can to defend each other.
– They also aware of each other’s talents/abilities.
– Never fight or misunderstand each other; are often able to think alike and adapt to situations to come up on top.

Shared Arsenal:

(See more about their individual weapons in their individual bios)

Mirror by DocMooBios
Magic Mirror (Legend of the three Caballeros):
– Allows Donald to keep in contact with April, May, and June (Daisy’s nieces)
— Though he can share it with his team mates if he wishes
– April, May, and June are great at researching things for the three on the internet (such as translating ancient text or researching certain cultures/civilizations/creatures)
– That, or they’re just good at giving advice and pep talk in general (Even if it’s stuff they got from somewhere else)
– No longer used due to being shattered/broken later
– Might be against the rules of a VS battle due to maybe qualifying as outside help

MoonRobot by DocMooBios
Moonbot:
– A large giant sized egyptian robot that is controlled by Donald, Jose, and Panchito
– Donald controls the arms, while Jose and Panchito control the legs
– Can be used to overwhelm enemies with it’s size and strength
– Doesn’t seem to have any weapons or long ranged actions; attacks primarily with punches and kicks
– Was able to fight a robot who was enhanced with magic (and even knock it’s head off and send it flying)
— Said robot was immune to Xandras arrows (Which could destroy other Moonbots with a single shot)
— Could also take beatings from said robot, who was not only enhanced by magic, but seemed capable of killing Xandra (The immortal goddess of adventure)

ArtifactCanonpic by DocMooBios ArtifactCanon by DocMooBios
Artifact Cannon (Legend of the Three Caballeros):
– A cannon made entirely of magical objects that were collected by/belonged to the original Three Caballeros
– Said artifacts tied together by Jose, Panchito, Xandra, and others to create a cannon capable of firing a blast of energy capable of destroying the barrier that protected Shellgoose’s mansion
– They barrier they destroyed was likely as powerful as the one that protected their hut, which require “A world’s worth of power” to destroy
— It ended up requiring a planet fruit; a fruit that eventually grows into a planet and can give one who harnesses it’s magic the cosmic power of one
— This likely means that the artifact cannon can destroy a barrier that can withstand planet level attacks
– Even if that isn’t to be believed, it was powerful enough to effortlessly bust through Scrooge’s money bin; which has often been portrayed as being magic proof and tanking massive comets and meteors in different incarnations
— It’s said that Scrooge’s money bin around city level, meaning that if the cannon busting a planet level barrier is not to be believed, it might at least be city level.

SwordSpear by DocMooBios
Bladed Weapons (Legend of the Three Caballeros):
– A weapon picked from King Arthur’s armory
– Jose gets a scimitar, Donald gets a broadsword, and Panchito gains a spear
– Was trained to properly fight with it by King Arthur himself as well as his other knights
– Not to be confused with their Ancestral Weapons (See below)

AncestrialArmor by DocMooBios
Ancestral Armor/Weapons (Legend of the Three Caballeros):
– The very same armor worn by the original three Caballeros
– Also comes with a weapons of their ancestors as well (Not to be confused with the ones they picked out from King Arthur’s armory) (See above)
– Seem to contain magic properties; the weapons are able to hurt the likes of Felldrake who was a being with cosmic powers
— This was even BEFORE they unlocked the powers of the Amulets (See “Amulet Power” above”

– Their weapons can easily cut through/pierce/damage “Moonbots”
– Also seem to protect from magical beings/attacks
– Can fire beams of magic from the tips of their weapons that seal powerful beings into objects (See “Amulet Power” above)

Steeds:

Mountsteam by DocMooBios
Steeds (Comics):
– When they met again, Donald and Jose were given their own mounts to traverse the Brazilian plains, jungles, and mountains
– Donald was given an ox who is often relaxed, but will get angry and smash through walls to save him if he’s in trouble
— Donald’s bull is also strong enough to not just carry Donald on his back, but also Panchito, Jose, both their steeds, and ALL their luggage on it’s body with out slowing down and with out any trouble what so ever
– Jose was given a Llama who is quite agile, energetic, and can hop up along rocky mountain trails with ease
– Panchito has Senior Martinez; his life long loyal steed and friend who is smarter than a regular horse (to the point where he can understand everything Jose says) and will come to his rescue if needed (See Panchito’s bio for more info)
– All their steeds are loyal to their riders and will do all they can to assist/rescue their riders from danger
– Might count as outside help in a written battle (Up to the writer)

Accomplishments:

Feats by DocMooBios
Comics:
– Defeated the notorious bandito Alfonso ‘Golt Hat’ Bedoya
– Rescued and freed captured animals from a tribe of illegal animal trappers
— Shortly afterwards, All three of them discovered a lost city where they escaped from a giant man eating Anaconda
Legend of the Three Caballeros:
– Managed to defeat the Minotaur using their team work and retrieve the three magical amulets that belonged to their ancestors
– Managed to defeat a small army of Egyptian robots on the moon and rescue Xandra in the process

– Teamed up with the Roman gods Jupiter, Venus, and Mars to defeat Felldrake/Shellgoose, who had stolen a ‘world fruit’ and gained cosmic power
– Stopped a plague of lava lizards from crossing the ocean and making it to dry land
– Broke out of Goblin Jail
– Defeated “The Great War Beast”; a giant stone monster fueled by war and capable of absorbing weapons of war to further power itself up by ‘breaking it’s heart’

– All three helped restore “Hanjy” after she had been erased by Shellgoose and Felldrake
– Defeated a Weather Manipulating Tengu in the underworld before facing a monstrosity made up of Shellgoose fused with his ancestors and successfully escaping back to the mortal plain
– Assisted King Arthur and his knights (Along with Xandra) in fighting a large magical dragon before then getting a years worth of training from Arthur himself in just a single day
– Along with Xandra; defeated and sealed away a fully powered/awakened Lord Felldrake who was said to be a threat to the universe
Ducktales (2017):
– Along with Jose and Panchito: Saved Scrooge, Huey, Dewey, Lewey, and Webby from a monstrous plant that tried to eat them all

Weaknesses:

GroupWeaknesses by DocMooBios
“We are not weak! We are vulnerable.”
All Three:
– Despite their toon force, he can still feel pain and be knocked out
– Can get distracted and even competitive with each other over curvatious women
— However, this ceased to be in later incarnations due to Donald wanting to be loyal to Daisy and Panchito’s personality change
— Though Jose is still distracted by attractive women
– Can still be slain as a ghost by spiritual creatures or those with spiritual weapons
– If he’s a ghost (or in the spiritual plane); his ghost/spirit can be slain by spiritual creatures/spiritual weapons
– Turpentine Acetone Benzene (AKA “The Dip” or “Toon Acid”)
— Both Donald Duck and Jose both appeared in “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” so it’s likely it can affect all of them
— Jose was clearly shown to be made of ink and paint in “Saludos Amigos” so this is consistent
– Lack a lot of their greater toon force in certain incarnations (Like the Don Rosa Comics, Zé Carioca, and “Legend of the Three Caballeros”) and in those cases have to rely on experience and wit
— But being that this is a composite bio, this might not apply to a battle

Donald Duck:

– Can start off clumsy or even cowardly
— Though this was rectified in “The Legends of the three Caballeros” after training/character development
– Bad Luck (Especially on friday the 13th)
– Daisy Duck
– Once intensely angered; Donald loses rationality and instead goes berserk which makes him unable to properly rationalize
— Better got control of his anger during “The Legends of the three Caballeros” after character development
– Can anyone understand a single word that comes out of his mouth?
– Doesn’t seem to have the ability to manipulate the world around him via singing and dancing that the other Caballeros do (Things that happen to him in musical numbers are often against his will)

Jose Carioca:

– Some what naive, gullible, and trusting
— Can get distracted/seduced by sultry senoritas
— Can some times be tricked by small cute harmless sad/defenseless looking creatures/people
— Can also some times not immediately recognize danger due to being overly trusting and friendly at first
— Though the second he realizes some one is a threat, these weaknesses no longer apply
– Prefers to use his charisma and wit opposed to fighting some one directly
– Some times unintentionally angers others by accidentally insulting them when trying to speak their language
— Though this can be beneficial for provoking his enemies into charging in the right circumstances

Panchito:

– His dare devil antics and impulsive nature can some times cause him to take action with out thinking for the sake of a thrill (or just expressing himself, but it’s likely he can learn via Jose or Donald just telling him what to do)
– Unlike Donald and Jose; it’s unknown if he can use “Black Magic” in order to return to normal size after being shrunk (Jose never taught him)
— That said, he did use similar abilities in the astral plain
– Lacks elemental powers like Donald and Jose do (Due to not appearing in the Disney Sports series)

– His guns can be stolen from him and used against him if he isn’t careful
– His magical serape can be scared away, drop him by accident, and leave him behind while fleeing
— That said, he can summon it back to aid him via whistling a short while later

– Panchito refuses to kill anyone due to it being against the Luchador oath
— That said, this aspect of his character can be removed for the sake of a VS match

Finale03 by DocMooBios
“We’re three Caballeros, Three gay caballeros, They say we are birds of a feather. We’re happy amigos, No matter where he goes, The one-two-and-three goes, We’re always together! We’re brave and we’ll stay so, We’re bright as a peso. Who says so? We say so! The three Caballeros!”
