BackstoryJose01 by DocMooBios
Back Story:
– Was born in Rio De Janiro Brazil
– Met Donald Duck and knew who he was just seconds after being painted to life by his animator (Saludos Amigos)
Speculation/Mixed Media:
– Started off as a poor parrot living in Rio de Janeiro; surviving as a moderately talented con artist and music-hall performer
– Turns out he had actually always been a fan of Donald Duck. When Donald came to visit Brazil on vacation, he immediately became friends with him and showed him around town
– The two later got back together and met Panchito Pistoles, who immediately became friends with the both of them and calling their trio of friends “The Three Caballeros”
— At some point in their lives became a very popular singing group “The Three Caballeros” who released many albums and some times met back up to do concerts together
– Now sings in night clubs for tourist money (But even then he’d rather slack off and spend time hitting on girls)
Zé Carioca:
– Spent 10 years in Hollywood as a famous film star (At least until his finances ran out) and even visited Duckburg frequently before he came back home to Brazil
– Currently resides in Vila Xurupita (A fictional town in Rio De Janeiro)
– Is a poor parrot who tries to get his share of high-society
– Some times works as a hustler (Making money by doing things that are not exactly legal)
– Owes money to nearly everybody and is often making escapes from them as debt collectors

– At some point in his life he gained super powers and became a super hero
– After they faded, he decided he wanted to continue being a super hero anyway, so he became
Morcego Verde (The Green Bat) a local super hero who went on to thwart real super villains
Legend of the three Caballeros:
– Little is known about his back history, though it seems he had little to no money and often used his charisma and charm in order to get around; soon exhausting his finances and becomes completely broke
– Later inherited an old dinky cabana from the will of Donald Duck’s great grand father “Clinton Coot” who had previously passed away
— Turns out it was also inherited by Pachito Pistoles and Donald Duck, so the three had to share their new home

– Later they found out the house was filled with magical artifacts, including a magical book that contained Xandra (The goddess of adventure) who revealed to them the truth of their ancestry
– Turned out he, Panchito and Donald are the descendant of one of the original legendary “Three Caballeros” who were adventurous knights that fought and sealed away the evil lord Felldrake
– As a result, they became the new “Three Caballeros” with all of them now going on adventures with Xandra
– During their adventures they thwarted Baron Von Shellgoose and Felldrake numerous times
– Later received training from king Arthur himself
– Went on to gain the powers of his ancestor to better fight the forces of evil

Physicality:

JoseStrength by DocMooBios ThreeStrength by DocMooBios
Strength:
– Once tackled a large mountain lion more than twice his size and knocked it over in the process (Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color)
– Can lift a large heavy mallet that even Donald has a hard time lifting (The Three Caballeros)
– Can often hold back an enraged (or infatuated) Donald Duck along with Panchito (Various incarnations)
– Can knock out thugs and criminals bigger than himself with his bare strikes (Zé Carioca)

Legend of the 3 Caballeros:
– Can hit a giant sized monster termite much bigger than himself out of a tree by bopping it with the tip of his umbrella
– Can probably be scaled to his fellow Caballeros, who are small building level (Due to being able to beat up Shellgoose bare handed)

– Can greatly increase his strength/attack power by channeling “Amulet Power” which allows him to fight cosmic evils like Lord Felldrake (See “Amulet Power” below)

JoseDuraBlownUp by DocMooBios
Durability and Stamina:
– Likely has light toon force, allowing him to endure more punishment than the regular person
– Can shake off getting struck by lightning (Disney Sports: Soccer)
Tanked an explosion to the face that launched his friend “Nestor” into orbit (Zé Carioca)
— A feat like this would make his durability at least building level
– Can shake off getting torched by some one becoming a living fire ball (Disney Sports: Soccer)
– Got blown up and sent flying by a large log-sized stick of dynamite that blew up the giant piano he was dancing on and he was completely fine with no damage or injuries afterwards (Melody Time: Blade it on the Samba)
Legend of the Three Caballeros:
– Once tanked getting hit by one of Xandra’s magical arrows point blank, which blew up in his face and left him covered in ashes
— Xandra’s arrows are powerful enough to pierce and destroy the hides of “Moonbots” (Large Egyptian Robots on the moon)
— But it’s likely she was purposely holding back, as after shooting him she stated “That was a warning”
– Likely small building level when scaled to his fellow Caballeros
– Though he can greatly increase his durability by channeling “Amulet Power” which allows him to fight cosmic evils like Lord Felldrake (See “Amulet Power” below)

 SpeedPanchitoJoseDonald by DocMooBios
Speed, agility, and reflexes:
– In various incarnations he is always presented as being quick and agile
– Can often keep up with Donald and Panchito in most incarnations

– Can react fast enough to dodge Donald running towards him (Who can move fast enough to appear like a blur) (The Three Caballeros)
– Is good at avoiding gun fire from gun totting thugs/criminals (
Zé Carioca)
– Has shown himself fast enough to react to an incoming speeding bullet and dive out of the way before it hit (Comics)
– Once out ran a lion (Which can run up to 50 mph) (Comics)
Legend of the Three Caballeros:
– Donald, Panchito, and Jose have displayed they are all quick and agile and all run at the same speed
— As a result, there’s a chance they all might scale to each other
– Can react to Leopold, who can move at speeds of 327.26 mph (Due to taking a month to reach from the moon to the earth non-stop without rest, giving him at least subsonic reaction speed)
Dodged Lord Felldrake’s/Baron Von ShellGoose’s magic attacks at close range
Dodged Shellgoose’s magic attacks again after he had been had been powered up further

– Threw an orange into the air, jump up after it, and peeled it perfectly in less than 3 seconds and then landed on the ground before it did; then catching it and serving it.

– Has dodged/reacted to electric attacks from a weather manipulating Tengu.
— This could put his reaction speed anywhere from Hypersonic to Massively Hypersonic.
– Speed can increase by channeling Amulet Power (See “Amulet Power” below)

Special abilities:

JoseToonForce by DocMooBios
Toon Force/Randomness (Various Media):

– Has Hammer Space: Can pull objects out of seemingly nowhere be them weapons, musical instruments, or other items (Various incarnations)
– Can temporarily turn anything into a musical instrument (Some how turned Donald’s hat into an accordion) (Saludos Amigos/The Three Caballeros)
– The world around him seems to change when ever he bursts into song (Saludos Amigos/The Three Caballeros/House of mouse)
– Can pop out of seemingly nowhere (Saludos Amigos/The Three Caballeros/House of mouse)
– Has flown by flapping his arms before (The Three Caballeros/Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros) albeit briefly
– Jose can shrink himself, and while shrunken he can also shrink someone else by grabbing them by the hand (Walt Disney’s Comics and Stories “Baia”)
The Three Caballeros:
– Has shown he is able to shrink himself down
— Can also shrink others down by hitting them on the heads with mallets
– While small, he can travel to different worlds/locations via books or pictures on post cards
– Has traveled to the real world (or at least a live action world) to interact with real life people via traveling through pictures
– Can multiply himself; all his clones are often in sync with what ever he’s doing
— While he does often only make three extra clones at a time, he can also split into a small crowd of himself
— Though his clones only seem to stick around for a little while before they seemingly just instantly become part of him again

BlackMagicJose by DocMooBios
Black Magic/Spectral Body Manipulation (The Three Caballeros/Legend of the Three Caballeros):
– A strange magic that Jose knows how to use
– If Jose is shrunken down, he can use this ability to easily return back to normal
– Simply blows into his index finger right index finger, inflating his body so that it grows back to normal size
– Might possibly have combat capabilities
– In the “Legend of the Three Caballeros Cartoon” he was able to use a similar ability to become bigger than his opponent, as well as enhance the size of his body parts while in the spectral plain/under world:
— Can inflate his belly in order to bounce enemies away
— Can inflate his fists or legs in order to make them bigger and hit harder
— Can inflate his head so he can bite people
— If he gets wounded, he will deflate like a balloon and become smaller
— If he can use “Black Magic” to do this is unknown, though it’s very possible (Up to the writer)
— But it seems possible, as in the original movie Donald did end up inflating individual parts of his body (Albeit by accident)

JoseFire by DocMooBios
Fire Manipulation (Disney Sports Soccer):
– Jose has shown the ability to spontaneously erupt into flames in short bursts
— Also gains a short burst of speed in the process
– Can surround himself in a blazing fiery shield to plow through groups of foes
– Can ignite things by kicking them and send them flying into enemies
— Can send what ever he kicks/ignites rocketing up high into the air

AmuletPower03 by DocMooBios
Amulet Power (Legends of the Three Caballeros):
– By the end of the first season; the three Caballeros absorb the power of the three amulets into their bodies
— These amulets were originally used by their ancestors to not only protect them, but also give them the power to seal away great evils like Lord Felldrake
— It turns out they were made by the Wizard “Blazebeak” who bound his very life force to the amulets themselves
– The Three Caballeros can access the power of these amulets to boost the powers of themselves and their weapons
– The amulets not only boost their speed, but allow them to seemingly run through the air itself as if they were flying
– Seem to gain a light healing factor; Xandra was weakened and injured before she herself was imbued with Amulet power, which immediately healed her up before her power was enhanced.
– Make the Caballeros powerful enough to fight and hurt/damage a fully awakened Felldrake
– Felldrake’s very presence/awakening was enough to obstruct the balance of light and darkness, even while still an infant
– Felldrake at his most powerful destroyed the earth the moment he awoke, leaving it nothing more than fragments floating through space
— Though that said, it is also possible he merely teleported large chunks of the area when he teleported, as it seemed all the civilians survived the explosion
— Either way, everything was restored back to normal after his defeat
– Felldrake at his strongest was likely comparable to when he attained the power of a World Fruit which not only gave him planetary power, but made him stronger than the gods.
— Apollo was a god capable of moving the sun (and yes, the sun in their world is as big as the one in ours)
– According the Blazebeak, Felldrake was said to be a threat to the entire universe (Though this can likely be hyperbole)
– Amulet Power strengthens their weapons as well, allowing them to hurt the likes of Felldrake
– Also gains the ability to fire a beam of magic out of their weapons that can seal away foes
– The Caballeros can combine their powers to seal some one as powerful as Felldrake into an object
— Almost sealed Felldrake into a staff again (Before Shellgoose interfered)

Zé Carioca Comics:
– Due to growing up poor on the streets, he’s shown he can hold his own in a fist fight

Personality:

Personality by DocMooBios
“I beg your pardon… I’m no weirdo. I’m eccentric!”
General:
– Is quite the suave gentleman who is cool and good under pressure (Mickey Mouse Works/House of Mouse)
– Often portrayed as quite the charming ladies man
– Rather elegant and stylish

– Loves to have fun; loves to go to parties, dance, sing, drink, ect
— That said; he hates working/the idea of getting a job

– Has shown himself very friendly, benevolent, debonair; Often happily hugs people when meeting them for the first time
– Though this also makes him very naive; when he visited a few american locations, he mistook the wildlife (who were predators looking to eat him) as friendly natives
– While reserved, he is quite jovial and always excited to learn new things and visit new places; often having enjoyable trips and experiences despite his misunderstandings
– Jose has shown himself to be a bit of a mischievous prankster at times (Though he’s often just being playful)
Zé Carioca/Comics:
– Often uses his charm and charisma to get what he wants due to being a con-artist

Cigar by DocMooBios
Cigar (Various incarnations):
– Just a regular cigar that Jose enjoyed smoking in earlier appearances in movies, tv, and comics
– Of course being that he has a cigar, he does make sure to carry matches around with him
– Later it was removed due to
Disney’s self-imposed ban on on-screen smoking in their media since 2007.
Saludos Amigos/The Three Caballeros:
– Can use the lit end of his cigar to light things on fire (Like the fuse of a fire cracker/bomb)
– Jose has shown he has explosives handy, so it’s likely he either has a lighter if he’s not using his cigar to light the fuses himself
Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color:
– Was shown he could make seemingly living magical constructs of smoke with his cigar
– Could be used to make dancing girls who are actually tangible and seem to have weight/mass, allowing them to touch/hold on to others
— Said girls can then all fuse together into one larger smoke woman who had enough strength to manhandle Donald Duck
– Can also form smoke rings into different shapes (Like a map of the United States)
– Smoke constructs disappear after a few seconds and seem to disappear/turn back into regular smoke if attacked or if they hit something hard enough themselves
– Can likely use these smoke constructs as he can create an abundance of them and they can grab/hold down/throw people
– Often had extra cigars on hand and could pull out more when he wanted

– Would some times pull out cigars and stick them in peoples mouths as gifts

JoseHammer by DocMooBios

– A weapon picked from King Arthur’s armory

– Jose’s super hero alter ego that he was inspired to take after reading some comic books
– His super hero name translates to ‘The Green Bat’

– Has spring loaded shoes, giving him greater jump height allowing him to literally bounce off walls or evade enemies faster
– His cape during his second appearance also allowed him to glide from roof top to roof top
– When Jose puts on this costumes, he gains a new persona/mind set and acts much more serious and to the point
– Is a much more to-the-point fighter who not only engages people up close, but also makes use of stealth and his environment and everything in it to get the drop on his enemies or lure them into traps

Companion:

PetGator by DocMooBios
Old Tom (Zé Carioca):

– Jose’s very own pet alligator
– Acts more like a dog than an actual alligator
– Is much starter than a regular alligator too; is very intelligent, can bring/fetch Jose useful objects (With out Jose needing to ask for them) and can some times notice things Jose himself can’t
– Likely as strong and deadly as an actual alligator (Possibly even stronger since it’s implied he could actually hurt Jose; who tanked a building level explosion)
– Is very loyal to Jose and will attack those who try hurting him

Weaknesses:

PerfectWeakness by DocMooBios
General weaknesses:
– Some what naive, gullible, and trusting
— Can get distracted/seduced by sultry senoritas
— Can some times be tricked by small cute harmless sad/defenseless looking creatures/people
— Can also some times not immediately recognize danger due to being overly trusting and friendly at first
— Though the second he realizes his opponent is a threat, these weaknesses no longer apply
– Prefers to use his charisma and wit opposed to fighting some one directly
– Despite his toon force, he can still feel pain and be knocked out
Zé Carioca:
– Has no toon force or magical powers; often just gets by on his wits alone
— Being that this is a composite bio, this might not apply for a fight
Who Framed Roger Rabbit:
– Turpentine Acetone Benzene (AKA “The Dip” or “Toon Acid”) which can melt/kill toons
— Both Donald Duck and Jose both appeared in “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”
— Jose was shown to be made out of ink and paint in the movie “Saludos Amigos” so this is likely consistant

Legends of the three Caballeros:
– Some times unintentionally angers others by accidentally insulting them when trying to speak their language
— Though this can be beneficial for provoking his enemies into charging in the right circumstances
– Doesn’t have the same level of toon force he does in other incarnations
— But being that this a composite bio, it’s up to the writer if this weakness should apply
– If he’s a ghost (or in the spiritual plane); his ghost/spirit can be slain by spiritual creatures/spiritual weapons
